Luke M de Zilva is a songwriter and experimental composer living and working on Gadigal land, Eora / Sydney, Australia. His music is based on spacious storytelling created with reverberant strings and voice, often performed within – and responding to – unique acoustic environments. Luke has performed at and created works for the likes Dark Mofo, Sydney Festival, Volume festival at the Art Gallery of NSW, Phoenix Central Park, the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani and the University of Technology, Sydney. Luke has performed throughout Australia, the UK and Europe, and was an Artist-in-Residence at Bundanon Trust in 2025. He is also the presenter of Surfacing on fbi.radio.
